Boating is fun! Together, we make boating better.
We’ve all seen the numbers and read the devasting news reports. Boating accidents, injuries and fatalities have increased by 25% since the pandemic began. With a record number of boats and new boaters on the water, many with no boating education, boating safety has worsened significantly after years of continual improvement.
With a team of volunteer instructors, United States Power Squadrons, America’s Boating Club, has been training boaters for over a century. Our in-person, online and on-the-water courses give boaters the skills they need to boat with confidence.
To combat this deadly trend, our nonprofit organization has beefed up its roster of online courses, made provisions for safer local classes, and created partnerships with boat manufacturers to spread the word about the importance of boating education. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help.
